During World War II, the threat of nuclear attack loomed large, with propaganda and media shaping public understanding. Nuclear Manifestations is an abstract video exploring this era through surreal visuals and audio from the Prelinger Archives, offering a firsthand glimpse into wartime fears. Targeting younger audiences unaware of war’s horrors, the project blends archival imagery with nebula visuals to convey the vast, unknowable nature of conflict. Inspired by Chicago-based artist INZO, the piano and ambient sounds create a somber tone, evoking sadness and uncertainty. The imagery, influenced by the boundless power of space, reflects war’s destructive and transformative force.
